New changes for North Central America Province

Cooperators of North Central America Province, are from Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, Salesians are living important moments of transition in its history as an Association.

First, you prepare for the Provincial Congress which will elect its next animators for the period 2016 to 2019. In this new period, the Executive Secretariat will be based in Guatemala and its next Directors of Formation and Apostolate be in countries Honduras and El Salvador. We put ourselves in prayer for the new animators of the Association.

The Provincial Congress will be held in CAM North Retreat House San Jacinto in San Salvador, El Salvador.

Other important changes for the province are especially in El Salvador, as from November 3, 2016 Ciudadela Don Bosco Center, located in the important Salesian headquarters in the municipality of Soyapango will be renamed Centro Don Bosco, in response to request by the local council and a decree of the Provincial Council.

The Provincial Council also issued two decrees for closing the centers Santa Ines and Maria Auxiliadora both in works of the Daughters of Mary Help of America North Central Province. From November 3 centers erected in El Salvador are 5: Mary Help of Christians, Don Rua, Ricaldone, Don Bosco and Santa Cecilia.

In addition, the Regional Consultation adopted the first Provincial Board of the Region, so that local councils and National Consultations of the Association of Salesian Cooperators of the Cam Norte Province, will have the lines of action established to encourage the Association since its ministries . The Board will be presented during the next Provincial Congress.
